Richmond Social Cycling Launch Event

Saturday 9th April sees the Station in Richmond turn into an activities hub for the day. Canoeing, walking and archery are amongst the activities on offer to launch a new cycling group where the emphasis is on accommodating all levels of cycling- to have fun. Download this poster for more details.

Go Dales Adventure Days

These are an opportunity for 14-25 year olds, both male and female, to try a range of activities all in one place. You could try out canoeing, kayaking, climbing, orienteering and much more. There is also the chance to meet up with members of local clubs to see what they have to offer, and whether you would like to join them.

The next adventure day will be held at Askrigg in Wensleydale on 2 May 2011. Booking is essential.

Similar information from Dales Mountain Biking will follow shortly.

Taster Courses for Women

Go Dales runs taster courses for young people who are new to outdoor activities, and can provide up to five funded opportunities so you can develop your skills. These sessions will be running through to the end of May 2011, and we are particularly keen to hear from groups of women aged 18 to 25 who would like to part.
