Encouraging young people
to discover the Yorkshire
Dales, and to...

...get out there!

Inspire!

The Yorkshire Dales really is an inspirational landscape, and a great place for a wide variety of adventurous activities.  Whether you are into walking, climbing, mountain biking or caving this is one of the best places to go in the UK.

If you have never done this sorts of activities before then we know it can be difficult to know where to start.  For this reason we have set up a project specifically aimed at introducing young people to outdoor activities called Go Dales!

‘Go Dales!’ is aimed at introducing eight to 25-year-olds from the Keighley, Bradford, Craven and Richmond areas to the Yorkshire Dales National Park and to the huge range of adventure activities they can take part in within this beautiful landscape.

The whole idea is to get young people interested in some of the different activities on offer in the National Park by offering taster sessions in a whole range of sports including rock climbing, sailing and walking.

The project also introduces people, who take part, to existing clubs so that they can take part in the individual sports and not worry about common hurdles like “I don’t know anyone in the group” or “I don’t know how to get there”.

If you would like to find out more about the project and how to take part, whether as an individual or part of an existing group, then just hit the contact us button and get in touch.
