Encouraging young people
to discover the Yorkshire
Dales, and to...

...get out there!

How to get to activities

Tried one or more of the activities and want to know how to get back to the Yorkshire Dales, why not try giving the bus or train a go.

Traveldales is specifically targeted to helping you work out how to get to and around the Yorkshire Dales National Park area.  It includes details of bus and train services from specific starting points such as Keighley or Northallerton and details of the various rail and bus services.

It also houses the Dalesbus discount scheme which lists offers that can be claimed by showing a valid bus ticket for the day.

If you want more of a door to door journey planning service, give journey planner a go- this is really helpful as it makes it easier to connect between two services without wading through piles of timetables and includes walk times to the bus stop or station.  You can even work out your closest bus stop to your house or the venue.  Just type in when you want to travel and where from and to and it plans your journey for you.

For bus and train services in and around West Yorkshire try the Metro website.
