To support farmers to introduce cattle onto their farms and create the infrastructure needed to look after them, the Limestone Country Project:
Funded 18 herds of traditional breed cattle-grazing on 1,850 hectares of internationally important limestone habitats plus many other parts of the farm (exceeds target of 1,500 hectares).
Built one new organic standard cattle shed.
Adapted four existing sheds to modern standards.
Purchased two mobile cattle handling devices for use by farmers and provided static handling facilities for remote sites.
Provided three electric fencing kits for stock management.
Provided seven new stock watering facilities.
