Voluntary opportunities
If you would like the chance to experience wildlife in stunning surroundings while surveying priority species and contributing towards the delivery of the new Local Biodiversity Action Plan then please read on.
Our first ever Species Survey Plan (launched in October 2011) details a full range of voluntary opportunities for 2012 and 2013. There is something for everyone; from beginners to experienced naturalists, individuals or groups and one-off surveys through to regular commitments.
If you would like to join the growing group of individuals and organisations working together to conserve, enhance and protect biodiversity in the Yorkshire Dales National Park please view the opportunities in the Species Survey Plan and contact us for further details.
Are you a member of a Natural History Society?
If you are a member of a Natural History Society based in or around the Yorkshire Dales National Park and would like us to come and talk about opportunities for your members please contact us.
