Airton

This attractive Malhamdale village is built around an extensive village green. Today it is home to an historic Quaker meeting house and a farm shop and tearoom selling excellent local produce.

Airton is a good starting or end point for walks.

You can go along the Pennine Way into Malhamdale, to or from Gargave, and to Malham, via Kirkby Malham with its historic parish church and village inn. The more energetic may wish to go through Calton over Calton Moor to Weets Top and Gordale or eastwards towards Hetton.
