Archaeological audio trails

This page contains links to the audio guides that the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority has created in partnership with Drystone Radio.

Five guides have been produced to date, and each one describes the route of a walk in a different area of the Yorkshire Dales, along with information about the history and development of the surrounding landscape. Further information can be found on the Authority's Out of Oblivion website.

All downloads are in MP3 format and can be played using any audio player such as Windows Media Player or Real Player. Left-click on the links to listen to the audio straight away, or download it onto your computer by right clicking the image and selecting 'save target as....'.

If you use an audio feed aggregator such as Juice, iTunes, or Doppler you can receive automatic audio downloads when they are published on the site in the future by using the RSS feed below. For further information on how to do this, visit the RSS pocast feeds directory page.
